Man had so much fun doing this! I realized that the sprite is pointed toward a certain direction by rotating along a point – so in order to have the sprite face left i had to point it at 0 degrees then flip it. Then make sure it was flipped in the right direction for all the other ways it could face.
Also the React to Collisions flag was super interesting – I accidentally had all the wall blocks moving when it was on and that was super cool – just like pushing boxed for a Zelda game!
